The midterm grade period occurs each semester between the fifth and sixth week of classes. During this time, a midterm grade will be assigned based on assignments to date. If a D or F is earned at midterm, students should discuss strategies and options with the instructor. More information is available on Spartan Central.

Late assignments will not be accepted. Students must contact the instructor before class if unable to present or submit assignments on time for alternative arrangements.

Attendance/Participation:

Students absent from class are responsible for catching up on missed material on their own time. One absence per semester is permitted. For each additional absence beyond the first, a deduction of 25 points will be made from the student's final point count. Additionally, students are permitted one late arrival. After the first, each tardy will result in a deduction of 5 points from the final point count. If a student is later than 5 minutes into the start of class time, it will be counted as tardy.
