Attendance/Participation:

Regular attendance is essential to your growth in this course, as much of our work is collaborative, experiential, and cannot be fully replicated outside of class.

Students may miss up to three (3) class meetings during the semester without any impact on their final grade. You are not required to provide a reason for these absences.

Beginning with the fourth absence, 50 points will be deducted from your final course grade for each additional absence.

If you arrive after class has begun, enter quietly and join the current activity without disrupting the class. It is your responsibility to check in with the instructor after class to ensure your attendance has been recorded correctly.

Students who arrive more than 15 minutes after the scheduled start of class will be recorded as absent for that class meeting.

Two (2) instances of arriving late (less than 15 minutes after the start of class) are equivalent to one (1) absence.
