Course Description
Seminar focused on the ways students learn within the classroom and community context. Prerequisite: Admission to M.Ed. or M.A.T. program or permission of department.

Student Learning Outcomes, Goals, Objectives:
Students successfully completing this course will be able to:
- Demonstrate mastery of the North Carolina Professional Teaching Standards (NCPTS) by doing the following:
- Passing Praxis math exam and Foundations of Reading.
- Successfully passing student teaching based on criteria in the LEA/IHE Certification of Teaching Capacity form.
- Successfully completing edTPA.
- To accomplish these goals and receive passing grades in 680-B, you will:
- Actively participate in all experiences required during the student teaching semester.
- Complete all requirements for student teaching as directed by your university supervisor and your cooperating teacher.
- Complete all supplementary assignments and readings, and actively engage in related discussions during TED 680-B.
