Attendance/Participation:
This course is taught using a clinical master-class model that emphasizes experiential learning, Clinical Skills Labs, case consultation, role plays, reflective practice, and professional discussion. Regular attendance and active participation are essential to achieving the course learning outcomes.
Students are expected to arrive prepared by completing assigned readings and actively engaging in class discussions, experiential activities, and clinical skill development. Because many course activities involve live practice, peer consultation, and instructor feedback, they cannot be fully replicated outside of class.
Graduate-level work is expected on all assignments and should demonstrate integration of evidence-informed practice, critical thinking, ethical decision-making, cultural responsiveness, professional communication, and reflective use of self.
