Course Description
This course examines causes of and responses to critical social problems in different world regions with a focus on the dimensions and impacts of globalization.

MAC Global Engagement & Intercultural Learning: In this course, student learning related to MAC Global Engagement & Intercultural Learning SLO 1 will be assessed through weekly interactive online activities on weekly topics that examine social problems through international case studies from across the globe. Student learning related to MAC Global Engagement & Intercultural Learning SLO 2 will be assessed through response papers on documentaries, in which students discuss the readings in relation to how global systems and local groups affect one another.

In this online course, your responsibility is to complete online lectures and participate in all the discussions, tests, and activities posted on weekly modules.
