Course Description
Covers the etiology, developmental course, assessment, and treatment of various psychological disorders (e.g., depression, anxiety, conduct problem, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder) that can arise in children and adolescents. Prerequisite: Grade of at least C- in PSY 275; concurrent enrollment in PSY 311 OR previous credit for PSY 311.

- Differentiate diagnostic criteria using tools like the DSM.
- Trace how disorders manifest and change from infancy through adolescence.
- Evaluate evidence-based interventions and therapeutic clinical approaches.
- Critically evaluate clinical case examples and psychological research.
