Course Description

Survey of scientific theories and research in cognitive psychology. Topics include human learning, attention, memory, and problem solving. Prerequisite: Grade of at least a C- in PSY 121

Students successfully completing this course will be able to:

  • Students identify key terms, theories, and researchers associated with major concepts and findings in cognitive psychology.

  • Students explain the underlying mechanisms and reasoning behind key theories and empirical findings in cognitive psychology.
