General Psychology

Course Description

Survey of psychology. Includes psychology as science, nervous system, growth and development, sensory and perceptual processes, motivation, emotion, learning, social behavior, personality (normal and pathological), statistics, testing, intelligence, aptitudes, and achievement.

Attendance/Participation:

Regular class attendance is a vital part of attending college. Your final grade will reflect whether or not you attended class regularly, and class participation comprises 5% of your overall final grade.

Due to class size, I will not assess attendance each and every class period, but there will be class participation activities that occur at regular intervals, and will constitute 5% of your final grade.

Missing over three absences could negatively impact your class participation grade.
