Course Description

An introduction to foundational political documents and the organization and behavior of the institutions, groups, and persons in American national government and politics. Introductory level course.

Students successfully completing this course will be able to:

PSC 110 is a survey of our political culture, constitutional development and the structure and functions of our national government and informal institutions, such as parties. The uniqueness of the American system will be emphasized.

Attendance/participation is included as 5% of the final grade as Class Participation.
