Students successfully completing this course will be able to:

• Critique evidence-based practice research that addresses conceptual, ethical, legal, and methodological issues related to anesthesia nursing practice.
• Analyze practice patterns, legal and ethical issues, and regulatory policies affecting nursing anesthesia.
• Synthesize recommendations for change or modification of practice patterns, legal and ethical issues, and regulatory policies that affect nursing anesthesia that are based in current evidence-based practice.

Attendance/Participation:

Repeated unexcused absences or failure to notify the instructor may negatively impact your grade. Exceptions to this policy will be considered on a case-by-case basis for legitimate and documented reasons.
