Course Description
Individual and group behavior, foundations for organizational development, and leading in new economy networks will cultivate leadership capacity to lead and manage complex change. Prerequisite: Admission to D.N.P. program.

Students successfully completing this course will be able to:
- Analyze personal and professional values that influence the capacity to lead and manage individuals and groups.
- Analyze organizational hierarchies and social networks as mechanisms to enrich personal effectiveness, influence, and power.
- Refine advanced communication skills to manage conflict, influence change, and adapt messages to critical stakeholders.
- Implement an organizational plan to lead meetings.

Attendance/Participation:

Repeated unexcused absences or failure to notify the instructor may negatively impact your grade. Exceptions to this policy will be considered on a case-by-case basis for legitimate and documented reasons.
