Course Description
Leadership, care management, and clinical practice are synthesized and applied. This practicum is population-based, focusing on decision-making, and interprofessional care delivered to individuals with acute and chronic conditions emphasizing disease prevention and health promotion among adolescents to older adults. Prerequisite: NUR 811L, NUR 812L, NUR 813L; Corequisite: NUR 816.

Students successfully completing this course will be able to:
- Manage care which reflects timely, safe, and effective decision-making and priority setting that reflects best practices, and adaptive and impactful communication.
- Compose health record documentation according to clinical and regulatory requirements.
- Apply diagnostic reasoning that incorporates knowledge of pathophysiology, lab and diagnostic testing analysis and patterns of disease presentation.
- Evaluate practice based on advanced level nursing DNP domains (ANCC, NONPF).
