Course Description
All life stages, from birth to older adult, and their corollary health and illness trajectories are analyzed. Advanced assessment and interventions are developed to include a team-based approach to care management across the lifespan. Prerequisite: NUR 709, NUR 811, NUR 811L; Corequisite: NUR 812L.

Students successfully completing this course will be able to:
- Recall adult life stages and adapt clinical assessments to accommodate variations across the lifespan.
- Investigate advanced interventional tests and therapies needed to manage increasingly complex and rare cases.
- Adapt illness care, health promotion, and maintenance of teaching options according to developmental, cultural, and literacy capacity/needs.
- Utilize referral networks to include home health, public health, and social support agencies.
- Analyze the economic burden of healthcare on family roles and social dynamics when planning care.
