Course Description
Human physiologic changes and common pathophysiological and compensatory mechanisms are applied as a basis for advanced practice diagnostic reasoning and deliberation.

Students successfully completing this course will be able to:
- Distinguish physiological processes and mechanisms in normal and disease states using current scientific advances.
- Evaluate individual compensatory mechanisms inherent in functional body systems.
- Interpret the effect of disease on the regulation of interacting systems
- Interpret the clinical manifestations of disease to derive a clinical diagnosis.
