Quantitative Research in Nursing

Course Description

Theoretical foundations, design, and techniques of quantitative research for nursing and health care. Prerequisite: NUR 702 and NUR 712, or permission of instructor.

Students successfully completing this course will be able to:

  • Analyze methods in the design and conduct of quantitative nursing and healthcare.
  • Analyze measurement strategies and design tools to ensure validity with selected populations.
  • Apply quantitative methods to selected research questions.
  • Evaluate quantitative techniques for application to nursing and health research

Attendance/Participation:
