Application of leadership and administration knowledge in a practice setting while defining self in a professional leadership role. Prerequisite: NUR 644.

Students successfully completing this course will be able to:
Critique the effectiveness of various modes of communication with groups and interprofessional teams.
Evaluate research related to the practice of nursing administration.
Analyze strategies used by stakeholders to influence the delivery of healthcare.
Synthesize knowledge of social/political forces, economic resources, and regulatory processes to manage healthcare within systems.
Participate as a collegial member of an interprofessional/interdisciplinary team to address issues affecting the delivery of healthcare.

Attendance/Participation:
