Nursing care of clients who have chronic physiological problems. Prerequisite: NURS major; Corequisite: NUR 320L.

Students successfully completing this course will be able to:
Apply the nursing process to individualized plans of care for patients with chronic illness in acute care settings.
Create a culture of safe and quality nursing care within the patient care settings using principles of evidence-based practice.
Implement holistic, patient centered care that reflects an understanding of human growth and development, pathophysiology, pharmacology, and nursing management of the client in the patient care setting.
Demonstrate principles of professional nursing practice.
Collaborate with members of an interdisciplinary team.

Attendance/Participation:
