Writing and planning newscasts for broadcast media. Prerequisite: Media Studies major or minor; or permission of instructor.

Students completing this course will be able to:
Participate in an editorial meeting and bring a story idea to class.
Produce a complete TV news story.
Complete weekly writing assignments.
Complete mid-term and final exams.
