Course Description

Writing and planning newscasts for broadcast media. Prerequisite: Media Studies major or minor; or permission of instructor.

Students completing this course will be able to:

  • Participate in an editorial meeting and bring a story idea to class.

  • Produce a complete TV news story.

  • Complete weekly writing assignments.

  • Complete mid-term and final exams.
