Attendance/Participation:
Because this course is asynchronous, attendance is demonstrated through meaningful weekly engagement with the Canvas module rather than presence at a scheduled class meeting. Attendance is not a separate graded category in this course. Students are expected to review the assigned instructional content and complete academically related course activity during each module. Canvas activity and assignment records may be used when attendance reporting is required by the University.
The optional Innovation Lab does not determine attendance and there is no penalty for not attending. However, students remain responsible for all course content, announcements, graded work, and deadlines. Missing a week of engagement may result in missed graded work even though attendance itself is not graded.
