Course Description

Reflections on scientific reasoning and/or investigations of particular problems to illustrate scientific reasoning. Notes: May be repeated for credit when topic varies.

Students successfully completing this course will be able to:

  • Develop and deliver the primary elements of an effective project management plan.
  • Identify and communicate with different audiences within the project management life cycle.
  • Increase effective project management behaviors for successful project completion.
  • Employ skills to revise and edit project plans.
  • Develop strategies to manage and overcome project risks.
  • Begin forming an identity as a practicing project manager.

Attendance/Participation:

The syllabus does not assign a separate attendance percentage. Because the course is online, attendance is reflected through active and timely participation in discussions, readings, assignments, and project activities.

Participation accounts for 70% of the course grade; therefore, missed or incomplete course activities can substantially reduce the final grade.
