Teaching Second Languages in K-12

Course Description

Study of second language teaching approaches applicable to the K-12 school classroom. Students learn to develop and evaluate materials applicable to effective second language programs in K-12 schools. Prerequisite: TED 445 and admission to teacher education program or permission of department.

Attendance/Participation:

Regular attendance and active participation are essential. Students are expected to engage in discussions, workshops, and teaching activities. Completion of required internship hours is mandatory to pass the course.
