Covers theoretical and practical issues in change and project management, including the rationale for change, why change projects succeed or fail, translating change efforts into projects, leadership competencies related to the management of change, and ethical concerns. Focuses on change and project management in the context.

Students successfully completing this course will be able to:
- Develop the skills needed to become a successful change agent in information organizations of all types
- Extend or transform information organizations through such mechanisms that include partnerships, grants, projects, space re-designs;
- Apply skills acquired in a tangible way such that they can be articulated to guide change and to lead projects
