Provides an introduction to instructional technology, knowledge, and skills for classroom settings. Notes: For students seeking initial North Carolina teaching licensure in any area; Students may not receive credit for both LIS 120 and TED 120; Same as TED 120.

Students successfully completing this course will be able to:
- Understand basic instructional technology that can facilitate learning in the classroom.
- Understand and apply the NC Digital Learning Competencies for Teachers.
- Understand and apply the International Society for Transforming Education (ISTE) Standards for Teachers (Learner, Leader, Citizen, Collaborator, Designer, Facilitator, and Analyst)
