Current theories, research methodologies and findings related to the social psychological aspects of sport and exercise behavior; emphasis on application in professional practice. Prerequisite: Permission of instructor.

- Compare the major social psychological theories and models of physical activity.
- Synthesize research findings on the relationships of personality, motivation, emotion and social factors with physical activity.
- Apply theories and research findings to promote physical activity in professional practice.
- Contribute information and insights to group assignments and class discussion
