Course Description
Analysis of human movement using mechanical and anatomical principles. Emphasizes kinematic and kinetic analysis, force and motion relationships, and application of modern biomechanical methods and technologies to sport, exercise, and rehabilitation contexts.

Students successfully completing this course will be able to:
- Demonstrate an understanding of the skills and methodology used in performing qualitative and quantitative analyses of human movement (e.g., measurement techniques, protocols, instrumentation, calculation).
- Demonstrate an understanding of practical applications of biomechanical principles.
- Demonstrate an understanding of the interrelations among factors associated with human anatomical and musculoskeletal structure and function.
- Demonstrate an understanding of and apply mechanical principles and methods for analyzing human movement.
