Course Description
Evaluation and treatment skills for athletic injuries to the head, face, neck, heart, trunk, thorax, abdomen, and those caused by the environment. Acute first-aid considerations in life-threatening and emergent situations will also be covered in-depth.

Students successfully completing this course will be able to:
- Recognize emergency situations which may occur when working with physically active participants.
- Implement appropriate life saving measures.
- Interpret environmental data to make clinical decisions.
- Summarize the best practice guidelines for various emergency situations.
