Attendance/Participation:

Students will be expected to manage time effectively and respect the learning environment of peers. At the beginning of each class, there will be a mandatory attendance check-in period that lasts for the first 5-minutes. Students must complete the check-in on Canvas to be marked as present. Check-in time for class will be from 8:00am-8:05am. The check-in will close at 8:05am and students will not be allowed to complete the check-in after that time. The check-in requires an access code, and the instructor will provide the code to all students at or before 8:00am. If the instructor is late to class (i.e., fails to post the access code by 8:00am) students will not be required to complete class attendance check-in for that day.
