- Understand and quantify linear and angular characteristics of motion.
- Understand the quantitative relationships between angular and linear motion characteristics of a rotating body.
- Understand and quantify the cause-and-effect relationship between force and linear and angular motion.
- Understand the mechanics of connective tissue and injury.
- Understand the kinetic and kinematic assessment of body posture(s).

Attendance/Participation:
I strongly recommend that you strive to attend every lecture, especially if you have not taken a physics course before. The lecture slides do not contain all the material that will be covered in class and evaluated on the exams. Therefore, it is in your best interest to attend every class meeting, missing only rarely and only for a truly exceptional reason. However, attendance is not recorded or scored.
Course Materials Purchased by the Students:
No course materials are required.
