Overview of assessment, evaluation, and research methods in kinesiology; emphasis on applications to professional practice. Prerequisite: Grade of C- or higher in KIN 220 and KIN 250; sophomore standing.

Students successfully completing this course will be able to:
1. identify valid and reliable psychomotor and psychometric assessment tools,
2. conduct field-based fitness assessments,
3. demonstrate an understanding of assessment and evaluation principles,
4. analyze data statistically, and
5. interpret results meaningfully
