Course Description
Introduction to basic concepts of human physiology at the cell, organ and systems levels with a focus on clinical applications related to physiological systems relevant to the allied health sciences. Corequisite: KIN 292.

Student Learning Outcomes, Goals, Objectives:
Students successfully completing this course will be able to:
- Describe basic human cell structure/function
- Describe the function of human organs
- Explain the interactions of organs in different physiological systems
- Comprehend the manner in which the human organism is dependent upon the appropriate function and interaction of physiological systems
- Explain how disruptions of specific organs / systems in the human can lead to disease and illness
