Attendance/Participation:

This course is a highly interactive learning experience for you and your team. Therefore, it requires you to attend class in-person. Regular class attendance is a responsibility and a privilege of university education. Students should recognize the advantages of regular class attendance, accept it as a personal responsibility, and apprise themselves of the consequences of poor attendance.

Given life’s unpredictability, we have built in 2 excused absences by dropping the lowest scores from the “In-Class” evaluation categories. The 2 excused absences allow you to miss 2 classes without penalty for any reason. However, it is your responsibility to review the missed materials posted on Canvas and to keep in touch with your group members. Please exercise caution and reason when utilizing these.

Because all due dates are posted on the first day of class, late assignments will not be accepted and will be scored as a zero. It is your responsibility to keep track of all course dates. Most assignments can be submitted well before the due date. Extra credit will not be given during this course.
