Lifetime Wellness

Course Description

Evidence-based approach to understanding and applying scientific principles of wellness, fitness, and lifestyle management. Includes a personal wellness and/or fitness assessment and developing a plan for immediate and long-term improvement and maintenance.

Student Learning Outcomes, Goals, Objectives:

Students successfully completing this course will be able to:

  • Identify the principles of wellbeing.
  • Analyze empirical data to make evidence-based health & wellbeing decisions.
  • Apply the scientific inquiry process.
  • Develop a behavior modification plan to achieve and maintain personal wellbeing
  • Engage in regular physical activity that meets your personal goals.
