Attendance/Participation:

The official attendance policy for all activity courses offered by the Department of Kinesiology requires regular presence and participation to pass the course. Roll call will be conducted at the beginning of each class. Students may accumulate up to and including 3 class absences without penalty for legitimate reasons without needing instructor approval or documentation.

Late arrival to class is unacceptable and arriving 10 or more minutes late counts as an absence. Students must participate physically in class to receive credit for attendance. Early departure before the instructor adjourns class is equivalent to an absence.

Students are responsible for tracking their own absences and late arrivals.
