Course Description
This course presents the ideas, advantages, and challenges of information organization and creating and ensuring access to information in the 21st century. Prerequisite: LIS 199 OR LIS 200; Information Science Majors.

- Explain retrieval tools and other organizational entities.
- Articulate the importance of information organization.
- Create well-organized information organization and retrieval tools.
- Collaborate with others to analyze and develop information organization and retrieval tools.
- Analyze accessibility in information repositories, organizational systems, and retrieval tools.
