Course Description
Focuses on systems and process concepts such as automation boundaries, feasibility assessments, performance measures, information modeling, process reengineering, quality, and value added. Course emphasizes analysis methodologies. Prerequisite: ISM 218 or concurrent enrollment in ISM 218; PCYB, PCYM, CYBE, CYMA, PISC, ISSC, or ISCI major.

Attendance/Participation:
In-class attendance and class participation will be recorded for each class. Attendance% to points conversion rubric: >85% attendance & satisfactory class participation = 20 points; >85% attendance & unsatisfactory class participation = 15 points; 65%-85% Attendance = 14 points; 50%-65% attendance = 10 points; <50% attendance = 0 point
Late or make-up assignments/activities/quizzes/exams will not be allowed. Missing course deliverables due to illness, summons to jury/military duty, University-sponsored events, or any other compelling reason should be backed by the appropriate documents (e.g., doctors’ note, etc.) to qualify for an accommodation. Accommodations are at the discretion of the professor.
Teamwork is a critical skill required for this course (and in your professional career). It is important that teams manage themselves to accomplish shared goals. In effective teams, interactions are managed between ALL team members rather than a selected few. To facilitate healthy team interaction, teams are encouraged to take this collective approach to managing team member expectations and within-team conflict. Teams should strive to be democratic and fair-minded, rather than allow unilateral decision-making.
