Course Description

Research Fellows Colloquium for Research Fellows Program. This course will expose students to a range of research areas and methods, provide community development and networking opportunities, and help identify ways to get involved in meaningful learning through engaging in research, scholarship, or creative work on our campus.

Students successfully completing this course will be able to:

  • Identify strategies and resources that support undergraduate research, scholarship, and creativity at UNCG.
  • Compare and contrast research methods and/or research topics across different disciplines.

Attendance/Participation:

This course is Pass/Not Pass. To earn a Pass, you must:

1. Attend + engage every class. You are expected to attend all class meetings and participate by asking or responding to questions, listening actively to what others are saying, and by sharing your perspective when appropriate. Missing more than one class meeting will result in a Not Pass for the course.

2. Attend at least one research event at UNCG + submit a critical reflection.

3. Complete the end of course quiz.
