Course Description

Advanced study of special topics in curriculum and teaching. Prerequisite: Permission of instructor; Notes: May be repeated up to three times for credit when topic varies.

  • Analyze a special topic in curriculum and instruction.
  • Evaluate research and scholarship relevant to the topic.
  • Synthesize multiple perspectives on the topic under study.
  • Apply theory and research to issues of curriculum or teaching practice.
  • Communicate a reasoned argument about the topic in writing or presentation.
