Student Learning Outcomes, Goals, Objectives:
Students successfully completing this course will be able to:
- Develop knowledge, research, and scholarship that focus on program planning, assessment and evaluation in postsecondary education;
- Demonstrate skill in the planning, design, and development of educational programs for postsecondary education contexts;
- Exhibit critical awareness and understanding of the social and political dimensions of educational program planning, particularly issues of power as they relate to teaching and learning in these settings;
- Understand basic concepts and terminology in structured inquiry, interviewing, observation, measurement, and statistics.
