Attendance/Participation:

In-person. Students should attend all classes. However, things come up. If they do, let me know as soon as possible. Participation in in-person activities (discussions, small-group work, writing and presentation activities, and content review) is part of this grade. I hope you actively participate and enjoy the class!

Attendance is taken every in-person meeting; after four absences, each additional absence costs 25 points off your overall grade. Please bring your laptop or tablet to each class.

When guest speakers from partner organizations visit, active participation in that day’s Q&A counts here too.
