French used in various types of business, with practice in writing and speaking. Readings on economic aspects of the French-speaking world. Prerequisite: FRE 204 or FRE 241 or equivalent, or departmental permission

Students successfully completing this course will be able to:
- Read and comprehend texts related to economic aspects of the French-speaking world
- Demonstrate an understanding of how to create a small business, complete with a business plan and financial projections
- Demonstrate understanding of a variety of business-related practices, such as investing in the stock market
- Demonstrate understanding of French workplace cultural codes
- Communicate effectively in professional French contexts
