Course Description
This course provides a comprehensive overview of culturally responsive approaches to evaluation and research in educational settings and includes both theoretical and practical applications. Prerequisite: ERM 704.

Students successfully completing this course will be able to:
Evaluate and reflect upon your cultural location, personal and conceptual presuppositions and assumptions in evaluation and research.
Identify key principles of culturally responsive evaluation and research.
Investigate theoretical possibilities and various ways of applying culturally responsive strategies in different research and evaluation contexts.
Critically analyze an evaluation context using specific guiding questions.
Reflect on and identify key challenges and issues encountered in the field.
