Student Learning Outcomes, Goals, Objectives:
Students successfully completing this course will be able to:
- Demonstrate skills intrinsic to performing with and without a conductor in a homogenous ensemble, including balance, tone, intonation, reading and interpreting rhythms accurately, and understanding and adapting to varying styles;
- Employ learned performance techniques in rehearsals and performances to the best of their abilities;
- Incorporate a standard repertoire into their knowledge base of literature over the semester.
