Performance of literature from all eras, including contemporary works for this medium. Notes: May be repeated every semester.

Students successfully completing this course will be able to:

  • Demonstrate skill in the performance of literature from the 15th through the 21st centuries.

  • Apply knowledge of styles in performance of trombone literature from the 15th through the 21st centuries.

  • Apply pedagogical concepts in trombone performance.

  • Offer, receive, and/or respond to feedback.

  • Express artistic/intellectual goals of their performances based on contextual knowledge, knowledge of self, and understanding of their intended audience.
