Course Description
Planning and implementation of projects related to master's standards for dance licensure, with ongoing reflection and dialogue. Prerequisite: Admission to MA in dance education.

Students successfully completing this course will be able to:
- Participate in collaborative leadership to address educational problems.
- Demonstrate leadership in home-school-community partnerships.
- Implement and evaluate effective pedagogical practices in dance education.
- Design and modify instruction based on assessment of student learning.
- Monitor the effects of instructional decisions on student learning and behavior.
- Connect subject matter knowledge with students’ developmental and diverse learning needs.
- Reflect on and modify instruction to improve student learning.

Attendance/Participation:
Attendance is required for two synchronous course meetings. All other coursework is completed asynchronously.
Participation includes completion of readings, discussion posts, assignments, reports, projects, and presentations by assigned deadlines.
