An introductory study of yoga as a mind and body practice that develops somatic (mind/body) wellness for everyone.

Students successfully completing this course will be able to:
- Identify factors that contribute to physical, mental, and social health.
- Demonstrate connections between various aspects of wellness and overall health and well-being.
- Critically evaluate information and media sources in a variety of formats.
- Integrate and cite sources accurately and correctly.

Attendance/Participation:
Attendance and active participation are required. Students are allowed two absences during the term. The School of Dance requires an 80% participation rate to receive credit for the course. Two late arrivals or early departures equal one absence. Make-up classes may be completed through approved in-person yoga classes.
