Course Description
Examination of personal, philosophical, socio-cultural, economic, behavioral, and historical dimensions of leisure; evolution of leisure lifestyles; exploration of the interrelationship between individuals, groups, and society in the context of leisure. Note: Students may not receive credit for both CTR 101 and CTR 111.

- Explain the interconnectedness of the eight dimensions of wellness.
- Describe the role of recreation and leisure in enhancing wellness.
- Incorporate wellness-enhancing recreation and leisure activities into daily life.
- Advocate for the value of recreation and parks in everyone’s lives.
