Students successfully completing this course will be able to:
Demonstrate an understanding of concepts, practices, and experiences of health communication (e.g. to be able to critically "see" how and why people perform "health" in particular ways)
Demonstrate an ability to collect, analyze, and perform health experiences/episodes/stories (e.g. to be able to use this critical awareness to engage performances as creative/scholarly data)
Demonstrate a graduate level ability to apply performance and narrative theory and practice to health experiences/issues/topics (e.g. by following the research process through from idea to observing performances, to collection of narrative data, to performance and reflection, and written scholarship)
