Attendance/Participation:
Students are required to attend all scheduled clinical sessions. Please notify Professor Leventhal when absences are required; advanced notification is preferred when possible.
Three or more unexcused absences will result in meeting to discuss course requirements and to review expectations. If continued absences occur after this meeting, the student will receive a failing grade for the course. Decisions will be made on a case-by-case basis, considering individual circumstances.
Regular class attendance is a responsibility and a privilege of university education. It is fundamental to the orderly acquisition of knowledge. Students should recognize the advantages of regular class attendance, accept it as a personal responsibility, and apprise themselves of the consequences of poor attendance.
