Course Description
Explores the research process, focusing on the design, data preparation, and analysis necessary for quantitative studies in Business and Economics. Topics include advanced quantitative methodologies, advanced methods in data management, and problems frequently encountered with the use of data.

Students successfully completing this course will be able to:
- Demonstrate the ability to solve problems using regression models and multivariate techniques.
- Demonstrate knowledge of the use of regression models in empirical research in organizations.
- Apply the statistical knowledge to analyze individual, firm and country-level data using statistical software.
- Evaluate the regression models and multivariate techniques used in empirical research in business and management.

Attendance/Participation:
The course is delivered in online, synchronous format. Attending synchronous class sessions is strongly encouraged, but not required. Attendance and participation are mandatory for the final examination, which will be conducted synchronously online at a time scheduled near the end of the semester.
All assignments are due at or before the deadline stated on Canvas. Late quizzes, assignments, and papers will have their grade reduced by 10% for each hour (or portion thereof) it is submitted late.
Missed oral examinations will be given a score of zero. Late submission of exams is not possible.
