Course Description
Hormonal signaling in humans and other animals is examined using developmental, physiological, behavioral, cellular, and molecular perspectives, with special emphasis on the adrenal glands and the gonads. Prerequisite: BIO 355 and BIO 392

Students successfully completing this course will be able to:
Describe how hormones transmit signals to regulate physiological pathways.
Describe the pathways and the critical regulatory points of endocrine pathways.
Explain how endocrine pathways are regulated during different physiological conditions.
Apply concepts about endocrine pathways and their regulation to novel situations.
